MORGAN Planning & Development worked collaboratively with the applicant, consulting team, and municipal planning staff to secure approval of concurrent Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment applications for lands located at 735, 825, 875, and 925 Line 15 North in the City of Orillia. The approvals established residential, commercial, and institutional permissions for the Westridge Trailside Neighbourhood Plan. The approved development includes approximately 1,065 residential units consisting of single detached homes, townhouses, and a 16-storey apartment building, along with two elementary schools, an integrated park system, and connected recreational trail networks. Planning services for the project were led by Principal Planner Josh Morgan, MCIP, RPP.
