MORGAN Planning & Development acted as both planning consultant and project manager in securing approval for a Zoning By-law Amendment and Site Plan Control application for the regionally recognized Vetta Spa located in Oro-Medonte. The site-specific Zoning By-law Amendment established permissions for the development of a Nordic Spa, along with associated corporate meeting facilities and chalets, parking areas, a restaurant, administrative offices, retail uses, and personal service shops. As part of the approval process, new planning definitions for both “Nordic Spa” and “Corporate Meeting Facility/Chalet” were developed and incorporated into the site-specific by-law. The project was led by Principal Planner Josh Morgan, MCIP, RPP.
